In Australia there is a small business called The Backyard Garden Enthusiast. They grow and sell Australian native flower and grass seed in regional NSW. I love the packaging and the amount of seeds that you get for your buck.

I agree about downloading information on the plants you bought to your spreadsheet. Would be amazing to offer a universal planting spreadsheet as well. All this great information and we have to cut and paste in 2024. Seems like time could be better spent buying more seeds and planting.

I have limited knowledge but I went with the ‘try it’ method and learned a lot in just 1 year. First year I just tilled or covered over areas with soil and planted seeds. My best seeds had come from the BPS company. This year, I ordered everything from them (garden and flowers). They are so kind, answer questions, and help you enjoy the process of learning. I just recently discovered Floret and ordered some seeds, so I’m excited to add them to the Blue Pumpkin Seed Co set. First attempt at starting plants this year too, so I expect I’ll be learning! Excited to dive into all the resources you have here. One thing I would love from companies is to be able to download the seed information from my order. All the information is on the websites, but then I have to type it into my spreadsheet to figure out when to start planting and what the temperature should be and what I bought and things like that. All that data already exists so would be great just to have it and spreadsheet format to download. Glad to have found you and I appreciate your commitment to preserving the knowledge and varieties.

Sounds like US Customs is cracking down and being vigilant according to Robert Parson’s website. I’d hat to have my seeds destroyed trying to get into Colorado Any recommended US sweet pea producers with the varieties close to Robert’s? Thanks
